Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PR Wire, a service of Domain Farm Ltd ("we", "us"), collects and uses your personal data. We are the data controller: Domain Farm Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 13544286, registered office Vantage House, Euxton Lane, Euxton, Chorley, Lancashire, PR7 6TB, VAT registration number GB435224124. 1. What we collect

• Your name, email address, company name and billing address, provided when you order (billing details are collected by Stripe at checkout).
• The press release and any image you send us for publication.
• Your correspondence with us.
• Basic technical data from your visit to the site (for example your browser type), used only to keep the site working.

We do not see or store your card details. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe.

2. How we use it and our legal basis

• To provide the service you ordered, including distributing your release and sending your report (performance of our contract with you).
• To take payment and issue a VAT invoice (contract and legal obligation).
• To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
• To respond to your enquiries and improve our service (legitimate interests).

3. Who we share it with

We share what is needed to deliver your order, and nothing more. This includes our publishing partner and the news network, in order to publish your release, and Stripe, to process your payment. We may share data with our professional advisers or where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Business contacts who have sent us a press release

Domain Farm Ltd (company number 13544286, registered office Vantage House, Euxton Lane, Euxton, Chorley, Lancashire, PR7 6TB) also runs news sites, among them Free Press Releases, Gambling News, Edinburgh Business News and Dubai Edited. If a business has sent a press release or a pitch to one of our titles, we may email the person who sent it to tell them about PR Wire, our paid press release distribution service. This section explains what that involves.

• Where the address comes from. Only from the email they sent us: the sender address, the Reply-To address, or the signature of that email. We do not buy lists, scrape websites or guess addresses.
• What we keep. The contact's name, work email address and job title where the email gave them, the organisation, the subject and date of the releases they sent us, and which of our titles received them.
• Our lawful basis. Legitimate interests: telling a business that has already approached us with a press release about a service that is relevant to that. We write to company addresses, not to personal webmail addresses, and we leave out sole traders and individuals as far as we can tell. For company addresses we follow the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) rules for corporate subscribers: every email says who we are, gives our registered address and gives a simple way to opt out.
• How long we keep it. We keep a record that someone has opted out, or that an address is invalid, indefinitely, because that is how we make sure we honour the opt-out. All other prospecting data is kept for up to 24 months after the last message the organisation sent us, and is then deleted.
• Your rights. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to us using it. Email hello@prwire.co.uk and we will act on it.
• How to opt out. Reply STOP to any of our emails, or email hello@prwire.co.uk. Every email we send contains this. Your address is added to a suppression list that is checked before every email we send from PR Wire and from our other sites, and we stop writing to the rest of your organisation as well.
• Complaints. If you are unhappy with how we have used your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order and billing records for six years to meet UK tax and accounting requirements. We keep your release content for as long as needed to deliver and support your order, and remove it when it is no longer required.

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@prwire.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

7. Cookies

The PR Wire site is a simple static site and does not set tracking cookies. When you go to checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies on its own pages to process your payment securely.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
